Synopsis

One of Frank McGuinness’s earliest works, “The Factory Girls” is set in a small town in
Donegal. The play tells the story of five women facing the threat of redundancy who stage a lock-in at the shirt factory where the girls work. As their protest continues, the women learn more about themselves and each other are forced to confront their anger, courage, and compassion. This is a provocative and well-told story, showing some of the character’s humor and reflection for the women’s working conditions.

SPECIAL: A Dinner/Theater Combination ($35.00) will be offered each Friday and Saturday, in the Carraig Pub, prior to the show.

Show time is 8pm and dinner reservations should be made for no later than 6:30pm.
