We are pleased to announce auditions for our fall play “Pretend Sick”, by Michael Ginelly, directed by Larry Coughlin.

Auditions will be held Sunday, August 20th from 1:00 to 4:00, and Tuesday, August 22nd from 7:30 – 9:00 at Gaelic Park.  Come on out for this fine Irish Comedy . Meet a lot of friends you never knew you had. Join in the fun and stay for the craic !!!!!!!

Auditions will consist of readings from the script.

Gaelic Park is located at 6119 W. 147th St. Oak Forest, Il 60452

Performances will take place Fridays, November 3,10,17th at 8pm; Saturdays November 4,11,18th at 8pm; Sundays November 5,12,19th at 3pm.

Synopsis:

Introducing Katie, manipulative and malingering mother to Mary, who pretends to be sick in a bid to keep her daughter at home.

Mary could probably cope with this, if only Martin, whom she is courting for ten years now, was more spontaneous and less of a wimp! But the arrival of Matt, English, educated and enigmatic throws a spanner in the works.

Throw in the mix newly weds Tracey and Jack, Sean, Mary’s brother and his drinking buddies Joe and Mick and their dolly birds and you have a hilarious farce.
